Foundations

Ages 7 and up* 

50 minutes, 8:1 ratio

Formerly known as Beginner I and Beginner I/II, students in the Foundations classes learn the fundamental body positions and skills from forward rolls to handsprings. Athletes at this level will focus on developing strength and flexibility along with technique as a basis for more advanced tumbling skills.

  • Forward and backward rolls

  • Tumbling Shapes

    • Lunge

    • Lever

    • T-position

    • Candlestick

    • Hollow Body

    • Front Support

    • Straddle

    • Pike

    • Tuck

  • Cartwheel

  • Handstands

  • Backbend
