12/21/2008 - America's Best- World's Bid Winners!
America's Best National Championship was a great success for KC Cheer Fierce 5!!!
Our Small Sr. Coed 5 traveled to Ft. Worth to compete this past weekend at America's Best. It was a great competition with some of the top teams in the Nation competing.
KC Cheer came home with a 2nd place finish and an at-large Bid to the Cheerleading Worlds. We are so Proud of these kids! After a few mistakes on Saturday, they pulled together and put on an outstanding performance on Sunday. They did a super job working as a team to accomplish their goals.
The first place team was Twist & Shout Small Coed. The paid bids at this competition went to Cheer Athletics & Twist & Shout. KC Cheer had a great performance on Sunday, and was so excited to compete with teams of this caliber.
Thanks to all the parents and KC Cheer team mates who sent us texts & called to cheer us on while we were in Ft. Worth! It was much appreciated.
12/15/2008 - American Spectacular - Results
What an Awesome weekend! KC Cheer showed up to bring home some trophies & the PROGRAM CHAMPION award at the American Spectacular National Championship this weekend in KC.
The coaching staff would like to say a big Thank You to all of the cheerleaders and parents who supported our Program this weekend! Every time a KC Cheer team stepped on the floor our crowd was there to cheer them on! This really helped to boost the performance level! Also, thank you to our cheerleaders for being on time, wearing the correct clothes & showing your enthusiasm for every KC Cheer team at the awards ceremonies! You guys were great.
This weekend was a test for whats ahead as we look forward to the rest of our Nationals Season. Being able to perform a routine at a high level of perfection, 2 days in a row is the goal from now until the end of the season. It was very encouraging to see that most of our teams performed better the first day then they did the second day! We recognize that this is very challenging as an athlete, but it is something that you must prepare your mind & body for from now on.
Please remember that much of our Success this weekend was due to the Awesome practices that we have had for the last couple of weeks. It is vital that we continue to have everyone at practice as we prepare for Jamfest Super Nationals. with the Holidays right around the corner it is a busy time for everyone, however, practices must still be a priority. Please check the Holiday schedule for the days that we will Not be holding practices, all other practices will be held as normal. Also please Mark your calendars for extra practices to be held on Jan. 10th in preparation for Jamfest Super Nationals.
Below you will find the results from this past weekend. We were very proud of all our teams! Great Job!

04/29/2008 - Worlds 2008 - Results
The third time was a "Charm" for the Small Sr. Level 5 Team at KC Cheer. What an incredible weekend for these girls! After completing premlins on Saturday, competing in the largest division at the Cheerleading Worlds competition KC Cheer ranked 15th of the 58 teams in this division! What an incredible feeling to have such an awesome performance and fall deep into the cut for the Finals!
Sunday, was a bit of nerves and overwhelming feelings as top 10 was realistically within reach. S5 had a few mistakes which dimished that goal, and the team ended up in 25th place. But what an accomplishment! Be Proud You ARE in the top 25 teams in the World (and everyone is in Small Sr. Level 5)!!! On any given day you could be top 10! The coaches at KC Cheer couldn't be more proud of each and every girl that performed on this team, no one could have done it better! Through the trials & tribulations of the season you continued to move toward the goal of Finals at the Cheerleading Worlds! Success is Yours! You are the only team in Kansas & Missouri to achieve this Honor! Live in the moment of this success and Next Season is just ahead! Thank you for a great Year!
BAM! (finals)
