Redline Midwest Classic

We are excited to be competing this weekend at the Redline Championships!  Please read entirely as you will find several details about the event and athlete requirements.  It is important to note that KC Cheer teams are grouped together and only these team members and 2 spectators from each family are allowed in at that time.  Once the KC Cheer group of teams have competed athletes and family members must exit the venue.

Coaches will meet their team at the front entrance of the Hy-Vee Arena.  Please be on time!  If we miss our warm-up time there is not room in the schedule to adjust.  Athletes should be completely dressed and ready when they meet their coach.  Warm-ups and KC Cheer tank tops over uniform are fine when you arrive and after you compete.

Prep Teams: Hair is in a high straight ponytail (on top of your head). Red lipstick if you are not going to compete with a mask.

Masks are required at all times for coaches & spectators.  Athletes must wear mask until they are ready to compete, at which time they are allowed to remove the mask if they choose .  It is not required that athletes remove mask.  Please have this conversation with your athlete so they know what you as a parent would prefer that they do.

Black Masks should be worn by all.  Some Prep athletes are waiting on their black KC Cheer mask.  We will have black masks to give those athletes if they do not have one.

*The Following is a note from Redline Championships:

Masks are required for spectators and coaches at all times. Athletes will be allowed to remove their masks when in the warm up room and when competing, but will need to wear them when entering and exiting the building. As for the spectator aspect, we had a meeting with the facility yesterday and they are having to be extremely strict and cautious, setting a max capacity of 300 total people at a time. For this reason, parents will purchase their wristbands and enter when their athletes go to warmups. They will meet downstairs in a holding area and when the first team from your gym block is on deck, you will be called to go upstairs to the arena. As soon as your gym block is finished competing, you will meet your athlete in a designated area outside of the arena  and exit the facility. I know that several programs have multiple time blocks that are spaced throughout the day..and while we would love to have your entire program cheering everyone one, due to the tight restrictions, we can only allow the spectators and athletes for that specific time block in the facility. I understand that this is not ideal, but we are doing our best to follow the guidelines set by the facility and must adhere to their rules. Thank you so much for your help with this, we appreciate your support and understanding during this unprecedented time!

Here is the schedule. If anything changes, please look for your coach to post information in your team BAND. All awards will be virtual and broadcasted on Tuesday.
