Cheer Expo will be held at the Kansas City Convention Center (Municipal Arena) located at 301 W. 13th Street in KCMO on Saturday and Sunday, December 6th and 7th.

All team members should be in their sponsor shirt or tank top and black pants when not in uniform both days.
Hair & Makeup: Links for the hair and makeup tutorials are posted below. Please follow these instructions. Hair in a high ponytail, slightly teased, curled ponytail. Bow should sit on top of the head. Everything you need for the makeup is in the make up kit except for mascara or false lashes and eyeliner. Makeup is a natural eye and red lips. NO other lipstick, no extra eyeliner or eyeshadow. Athlete do not have to wear foundation or false lashes if they do not normally wear these. Flippers and Fantastic makeup is lipstick only.
Additional Important Details:
No jewelry for team pictures or ANY performance
Remove fingernail polish and fake nails. Athletes with long nails will be required to promptly remove them. This is a BIG issue and has been addressed many times at practices. It is dangerous to have long nails in this sport.
Athletes must cover their midriff with not performing (sponsor shirt or team tank)
Be sure your athlete’s name is in all apparel items.
Awards Attire - Athletes MUST be in FULL uniform for awards. No backpacks, no phones, or extra stuff allowed on the awards floor.
Meeting Spot - Athletes will meet their coach in the front lobby area of Municipal Arena. Please be dressed and ready to go to the practice room when you meet your coach. BE ON TIME!

This is a short competition both days. We are asking all teams in each session to get down on the floor and cheer for all our KC Cheer teams in each session! Get your Thundersticks and make some noise! If you don’t know how to CHEER for the teams, please be sure you are at the gym for the Extra Practice for your team and we will teach you!
