The GLCC Grand Nationals will be held on March 7-8, 2026 at the Schaumburg Convention Center located at 1551 Thoreau N Drive in Schaumburg, IL.
Teams attending this event: Fiercelings, Feisty, Fuel, Flash, Fiesta, Forecast, Fanta, Fresh, Fearless and Fierce Five.

ALL Athletes must be in Full Uniform at awards ceremonies. NO BACK PACKS OR EXTRA
STUFF Sr. athletes must have t-shirt or warm up jacket over their uniform at all times when not in warmups, competing or at awards. This will be strictly enforced.
Reminder- ABSOLUTELY NO Jewelry (covering with band-aid is a violation), or Long Nails
Hair and Make-up:
Hair should be in a High Ponytail. NO sides hanging down (wispies). Ponytail can be slightly
teased but do not make a big knot under the tease to make it stand up. If you have
questions please ask. There is a tutorial on the website. Make-up should be only the LOVER approved pallet and approved lipstick. If you don’t have it -GET IT! Add your own mascara or lashes, and foundation. Extra eyeliner or colored eyeliner is not approved and should not be worn.
Team Performances and Crowd Support:
Athletes have 2 jobs at every competition -
1) Perform to the best of their ability and uphold all
team responsibilities.
2) Cheer on ALL KC Cheer teams that do not conflict with their team
performance. KC Cheer parents, athletes and fans were so great at our last competition! Let’s keep it up at GLCC!
Parents do not ask your athlete to leave when they know they are supposed to be
supporting our KC Cheer athletes. These opportunities for team building are rare and the more
support our athletes get from the crowd the better they perform. Reward them for all their hard
work and show your support by BEING their biggest FAN!
We’d love to see our crowd in KC CHEER GEAR!!! Support your athlete, their team and all KC Cheer on your athletes! Gym unity goes a long way and crowd support goes a long way! Let’s have some fun!
Schedule: Details for each day are below. Please read through and be prepared. This is a new venue for all of us so it is highly advised to arrive early to familiarize yourself with the space.
Transportation to and from the venue is on your own! Be sure to allow enough time with traffic!
We do not have a team room. Rooms are assigned to teams by Varsity and we were not lucky enough to be given one.
Coaches will plan to meet their team outside the Warm Up AREA in Exploration Hall. If we find a better meeting place once we arrive we will post this in the band.

*New this year -- there is a new parking garage connected to hotel that is officially OPEN. There is currently still construction for the sky bridge, but will update once we get closer on accessibility.
