The US Finals will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Jacobson Event Center located at 3000 E. Grand Avenue in DesMoines, IA.

Foxy & Frenzy Hair & Makeup:
All hair MUST be fully pulled back and smoothed with gel or hair spray (no wisps of hair).
Ponytail MUST be on the very top of the head and tightly secured.
Hair should be worn straight (no curls) except for athletes with naturally curly or textured hair.
Ponytail MUST be slightly teased.
If wearing a hairpiece (Posh Pony) the hairpiece MUST be TIGHTLY SECURED to the head.
All athletes MUST wear the red competition lipstick in the shade Dancer.
All other makeup (foundation, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, false lashes, etc.) is optional and MUST be kept LIGHT & NEUTRAL in color.
Fiercelings Hair & Makeup:
All hair MUST be fully pulled back and smoothed with gel or hair spray (no wisps of hair).
Ponytail MUST be on the very top of the head and tightly secured.
Ponytail MUST be loosely curled.
Ponytail MUST be medium teased.
Athletes with naturally textured hair may wear their hair in a high ponytail.
If wearing a hairpiece (Posh Pony) the hairpiece MUST be tightly secured to the head.
Athletes MUST only wear the makeup & lipstick provided in the competition makeup kit.
Important Reminders- PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!!
As mentioned in our parent meetings last week, this event is held on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. There is nowhere to get ready at the event venue, so please plan ahead for a place for your athlete to get changed and ready!
Please keep an eye on the Band App and ensure you have the notifications turned on so that throughout the day you won't miss important updates from coaches/team parents.
Athletes MUST be fully dressed and ready (full uniform, hair done, cheer shoes on, lipstick on, no jewelry, etc.) by the “Meet Coaches” time. All items including water bottles, backpacks, phones, jackets, t-shirts, pants, etc. must be left with parents when meeting coaches.
Athletes should only wear their KC Cheer Sponsorship Shirt/ KC Cheer Warmup Jacket and black leggings or pants over their uniform, no other attire may be worn while in uniform at the competition. Athletes should have no extra clothes on or items with them during the following times: Meet the Coaches Time, Warm-Up Time, Performance Time, and Awards Time.
The girls need you all to BRING the energy! As a reminder, coaches will record a video using a tripod to send to the entire team. We need ALL parents to focus on cheering LOUDLY and being in the moment enjoying watching your athlete compete and showing off all their hard work!
Please support & cheer for ALL of the KC Cheer teams! All of the teams have worked extremely hard and we want to show them all a lot of love and support in their final competition of the season!
Please put your athlete’s name on EVERYTHING! Cheer shoes, competition bow, team tank, water bottle, etc. Things can get misplaced or mixed up very easily!
Absolutely NO jewelry of any kind may be worn. This includes earrings and permanent jewelry.
NO colored nail polish & NO long nails allowed. This will be strictly enforced!
For your athlete’s safety, please keep a close eye on your athlete and do not allow them to freely roam around the event venue.

Doors Open on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.

There is free parking around the event venue, although space may be limited.
Please note the facility has restriction on the following:
No outside food or drink is allowed though concessions may be purchased inside the venue.
For the safety of participants and spectators, items such as weapons, firearms, pepper spray, air horns, and laser pointers are not permitted. The full list is available on our Safety page.
Athletes are encouraged to bring their own water bottles to the event and throughout the warm-up process. There are water filling stations available throughout the venue. Coaches, it may be helpful to bring an extra bag or tote with you into warm-ups to collect your team’s water bottles before they take the performance floor.
