General Reminders

It is so important that all athletes are on time. These competitions will not hold our practice times, so if we are without someone at check-in, we lose our chance to warm up and practice.

Our athletes love to perform for a cheering crowd! We love to have you there to watch, but remember to make some noise too! Bring on the loud voices, lighted signs, noisemakers and cowbells to support our teams.

It is super exciting to be competing against teams from all over the country right here in our city. Remember to show great sportsmanship (cheerleaders AND parents), and hospitality so teams want to return to KC for future competitions. You're there to SUPPORT our athletes and cheer loud for our teams!

Saturday, December 15

ATTIRE: BLACK 20 YEAR GYM TANK AND BLACK PANTS WHEN NOT IN UNIFORM, BOW WITH TAILS.

We will split the day so that athletes do not have to stay at the event all day long. Of course, you are welcome to and we would love to have everyone there all day to cheer on our teams, but if you must leave early or come later here is how we split the day.

Force, Fiercelings, Flawless, Feisty and Fame: Arrive at 8:30a.m. in time to watch Flash and may leave after Fame performs at 1:39p.m. Coaches will meet with each team BEFORE they are allowed to leave, so be sure you do not leave prior to meeting with your team and coach. It is unacceptable to miss a performance because you're eating a meal or getting ready to meet your coach. (Flash—please note that your meet time is 7:30a.m. and Flippers is 8:00a.m.)

Flippers may leave after their awards and Firecrackers my leave after their performance.

Fiesta, Finesse, Fuel, Fierce Five, Fortune, Fireball, Fearless and Fresh: Must arrive no later than 2:00p.m. to watch Fiesta and will stay until after Fresh performs. Coaches will meet with each team before you are allowed to leave for the day, so please be sure you meet with your team and coach before leaving the Arena. (Fiesta, please note your meet time is 12:55p.m.)

Remember that you must always have a shirt or warm up jacket on to cover your midriff if you are not in the practice room or performing.

ATTIRE: TEAM JERSEY AND BLACK PANTS WHEN NOT IN UNIFORM, WHITE TAIL-LESS BOW.

We will split the day again so that athletes do not have to be at the event all day. Please note if your meet time is earlier than your required arrival time to cheer on another team.

Force, Flash, Fiercelings, Flawless, Feisty, Fame: Arrive at 8:00a.m. to watch Force at 8:15. These teams my leave after Fame performs at 1:29 and you have attended your awards ceremony. (Fiesty & Fame will attend the 2:15 awards ceremony before they will be allowed to leave)

Fiesta, Fuel, Fearless, Fireball, Fortune, Fierce 5 & Fresh: Arrive at 2:00 in time to watch Fiesta perform at 2:17. These teams must stay until Fresh has performed and you have attended your awards ceremony.

Awards

There will be awards ceremonies throughout the day on Sunday as each division finishes. Times are listed above.

Everyone must be in full uniform when they go to their awards ceremony. This means no backpacks, no warm ups, no shoes other than cheer shoes. You should look exactly as you look when you take the mat. FULL. UNIFORM.
